Girls are given toys that make them look pretty-dress up dresses and shoes and purses. Boys are given toy swords and guns and cars and blocks. They are saying you shouldn't need to make a woman attractive in order to appeal to girls.īoys get to play with toys because of what they can do. No one is saying attractive women are stupid. They took away most of the characteristics that made her unique & strong, and they changed her to look like the other characters. The fact that they changed her to have a lower cut dress, perkier breasts, smaller waist, higher cheek bones, sleeker hair, and took away her bow & arrow is pretty appalling.
She was set out to not be a dolled-up character. This character was designed to be different. Every other princess is a shiny, pretty little thing who waits around for a prince. People are pointing out that those images of attractive women are pretty much all little girls see. No one is trying to say that attractive women are stupid.
